Sometimes the best thing to do in life is to focus on those good things and one of the biggest are paying attention to those happy people. Observe them and learn how they go about their day, how they greet people, their energy, and the joy that they share with the world. At the end of the day the goal is to see and also encourage others to become one of those happy people.

A Dreamer’s Dream

Black history month is always a great time to reflect and think back on our ancestors struggle for us to have the luxuries of life that we sometimes take forgrantted like education, freedom, and the right to vote. In my opinion God has blessed us with black history being a year round event and it never stops. It’s always constantly evolving day in and day out. Check out this short film created by Tyrese Gibson to give a glimpse of how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King would feel and or speak on todays society.

Red Tails This movie is by far one of the best movies I’ve seen in the theaters in a long time. I definitely would like to recommend this to all of my readers. Not only does this movie share a moment in time in our history, but it also has a touch of drama, comedy, and love in this picture. Be sure to check it out when you have leisure time. The king of the south will go to battle with a mighty army, but to no avail, for there will be plots against him.

Dreams do come true To begin this week off definitely keep this in mind. The things that you feel, believe, and speak are normally the things that you will receive. So be sure to feel good, believe and focus in on your good thoughts, and speak good words into reality for your dreams and wants rely on them. Simply these are the things that will determine how you feel during a storm in your life and what you will receive for being enduring in those times to better enjoy the good times that will soon come. So push all the negative things to the backburner and look onward to the positive, energizing, and uplifting life God want’s you to be apart of. Think about it. Appreciating Howard University I was just sitting back and thinking on the long journey I went through when I attend this great school and realized it was definitely a life changing experience. I’ve met many great friends there, found my passions, and retained a stronger understanding on life there. I will forever be honored and respect the fact that I am an alum of Howard University and those who are consistently building a great name for that place. I say this to say thank you! -R.
